Bindle
"too big for my dorm"
The modern Bindle is a sacrifice, as all things are in college living. Made from billet aluminum, this design solves the problem of students who already struggle with finding accessible healthy food and goods, needing to transport it.
The Bindle combines utility, strength and comfort, with a comforting yet unrealistic image of the Bindle as a bag on a stick. Bindles were actually a blanket roll slung over ones shoulder. While the modern equivalent is a backpack, students bags are full of expensive electronics, and clothes that are sullied by takeout or aromatic garlic.
The Bindle consists of a uni-body lightweight design, having holes to lessen weight and provide attachment holes. The hinging mechanism acts to bring the bindle down to pocket sized for it to be easily stowed wherever a student needs it. Current solutions such as the shopping carts that fold up take up immense space in small dorm rooms and lack ease when traversing difficult terrain. Near the handle, a small hinging spring mechanism works along with the bodies own compression while walking to make a shock absorbing effect and make the journey more comfortable.

Only reusable bags and the idealistic green identity that comes with your purchase doesn't make rice and beans easier to carry.
